DESCRIPTION:
E. Ingraham & Co., Bristol, Conn., 8 days, spring driven brass movement wall timepiece made for the "Railroad Chronometer Co., Chicago". Not shown in catalogs as it was a special order. Ingraham made a square case model of the same size named the "Solar", but this model is more ornate. Movement dated Nov. 1910.
CONDITION:
Nicely carved oak case in an old finish with a small damaged area on the top edge. Original paper dial has age darkened with darker stains on the four corners from the wood cross pieces on the door frame contacting the paper. Movement is signed. Ht 21"
